Anikim Lamoureux — La Voix Authentique
Anikim Lamoureux — The Authentic Voice
I’m Anikim, and the voice is the thread that runs through my life.
It has been my refuge, my challenge, my compass. Through exploring my own silences, resistance, and impulses, I came to understand that working with the voice goes far beyond technique. It unfolds through the body, breath, listening, and presence.
For over 20 years, I’ve been exploring the connections between voice, expression, and creativity. An artist and vocal coach since 2021, I support those who want to go beyond singing or speaking “well” and discover a voice that feels freer, more alive, and more deeply their own.
My approach has evolved through training in body, breath, and voice work, studies in arts and psychosocial intervention, as well as intuitive singing and improvisation. In 2015, an experience with a drum opened the door to a raw, vibrant, instinctive voice. The exploration has continued ever since.
I’m not here to fix your voice or tell you what it should sound like. I create space to listen, experiment, unravel old patterns, and let what wants to be expressed emerge.
I’m not here to give you a new voice. I’m here to guide you in meeting your own.
That’s what The Authentic Voice means to me.
